SEARCHING TO CAPTURE the
spirit of place, David Penn is engrossed by the subliminal presence
of generations of ordinary lives being lived,
rather than by the dusty facts of kings and conquerors.
Over several years he's built a substantial body of work related principally
to his explorations of India.
More recently he's been granted a rare opportunity to visit the Falkland
Islands to research and collect material which has enabled him to develop
a new but entirely complementary strand of work.
