We believe that by working in partnership we can achieve more than on our own. We're open to collaboration with other arts groups but also with "non-arts" partners to bring our work to the widest possible audience and to share our skills.

The
Lichfield Festival Wilf's sponsored our 2009 Big Draw Event. Visit the lounge area to see the resulting community work. "Lines in Draught"
drew over 100 adult participants who "drew" on huge (and small)
beer mats using the natural ingredients of beer. In July 2006 we worked with
over 100 adults and children in workshops during the Carnival. David's on the board of Lanternhouse International (the exciting reincarnation of Welfare State International), having previously worked with WSI in key roles over a number of years. He's keen to develop partnerships between artists and companies, with a particular interest in training artists and raising aspirations. Mill Yard artists David Penn
and Pam Williamson with guest Sally Toms ran a big draw event at Lanternhouse
in October 2009. Lake District National Park's Premier Art Centre (Winsor & Newton); Daler/Rowney main dealer; Cumberland Pencil's dealer of the Year. We are working in partnership
with SHINGLERS to promote skilled and imaginative use of high quality
artists' materials. Participants on all Mill Yard Studios courses will
be offered discount vouchers for use at the shop. |
